Their roots attach to wet soil and do not dry out, as the nutrients they need to survive are taken up by water. Plants that can withstand temporary flooding and short periods of drought are also suitable for sloping stream and ditch banks.

The plants we offer have been tested in Estonian conditions and can also cope well in winter conditions when planted in soil. For potted wetland plants, we recommend moving them into deeper water for the winter or, if possible, into a cool cellar.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_shop type=”product_category” posts_number=”20″ show_pagination=”on” include_categories=”30″ show_rating=”off” show_sale_badge=”off” _builder_version=”4.24.1″ _module_preset=”default” border_radii_image=”off||40px||40px” box_shadow_style_image=”preset2″ box_shadow_blur_image=”16px” box_shadow_spread_image=”1px” global_colors_info=”{}”][/et_pb_shop][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.24.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.24.2″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.24.2″ _module_preset=”default” hover_enabled=”0″ global_colors_info=”{}” sticky_enabled=”0″]

Wetland plants help achieve water purity

The main function of wetlands, both natural and artificial, is to purify water and bind organic matter.
